CASE STUDIES

PROJECT DETAILS
CLIENT: Embrace Church
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Each summer, most of the churches in town are offering a kid event, commonly known as VBS (Vacation Bible School). Embrace Church wanted to make something different and more exciting for kids this year.
CHALLENGE:
Ninja Warrior Kids Camp is a one full-day camp. A lot of energy is brought into it and they wanted to have as many kids as possible. It is also a good time for kids to invite their friends from school who do not necessarily attend Embrace Church.
SOLUTION:
Create a brand inspired by “American Ninja Warrior”. Having the kids excited to challenge themselves and have a ton of fun running, jumping, and going through obstacles course. A bold design that wasn't too childish was used to encourage all age groups from kindergarten to 5th grade to sign up.
GOALS & STRATEGY
This kids camp was primarily intended to have all kids from Embrace Church to join, but the goal was that every kid in town would want to join. The camp is announced weeks, even months in advance. The early announcement creates excitement. As the summer season fills up quickly with camps and activities, it is important for parents to lock this date early in their calendar.
In the kids area on Sunday, parents were handed out a flyer with all the details and inviting them to go on the website to register their kids. Also, kids were given temporary tattoos, with instructions and camp details for their parents. When they registered, kids were given a “Ninja Warrior” shirt with the hopes that they would wear it to school and build curiosity with their friends. Posters have also been placed in most of the stores downtown, and windows when allowed.
RESULTS
1,522 kids have signed up for the camp. And they sure had a blast!
