CASE STUDIES

PROJECT DETAILS
CLIENT: Embrace Church
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Each year, Embrace Church throws a giant party to build community and encourage people to get baptized.
CHALLENGE:
The summer party is a one-day event with lots of energy. They wanted to have as many people as possible. It is also an good time to invite family and friends to join and feel welcome.
SOLUTION:
Create an unique brand for the party. Keeping consistency with the look and feel, but having the flexibility to change the colors so the marketing roll out isn’t all the same.
GOALS & STRATEGY
The event is for the congregation, but the goal is that everybody in town would feel welcome to join. The party is announced weeks, even months in advance. The early announcement creates excitement. Church attendance is lower in the summer so this also allows people to lock this date early in their calendar.
A good way to reach the whole town was to use door hangers, invite cards, and posters. Door hangers have been put on each door handle of all neighborhoods in the city. The church attendees have been encouraged to grab as many invite cards as they wanted and hand out to their friends, family, or just a random stranger in town. Posters were placed everywhere downtown, and displayed on most of storefront windows.
RESULTS
3,031 people showed up at the party in between the 5 campuses. 169 people were baptized.
